Do my customers need an app?
No. They pay with the bank app they already have, or by card. There’s nothing to install.
Which banks work?
Swedbank, SEB, LHV, Luminor, Coop Pank and Citadele, plus cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay for everyone else.
How fast does the money arrive?
Usually within seconds, in your own bank account. Now and then a bank takes until the next working day.
Do I need a card terminal?
No. Your phone is the till. You can keep your terminal if you like, and see how many customers choose their bank instead.
What do I need to sign up?
Your company details and a Montonio account. Montonio is the licensed payment company that moves the money. We guide you through it, and Montonio usually approves a business within one or two working days.
What if a customer needs a refund?
Mark the payment for a refund in Otsepay. During the pilot, we sort it out with you.
Is it safe?
Every payment is approved by the customer in their own bank app with Smart-ID or Mobile-ID. Otsepay never holds money and never sees bank logins.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, with a short email to us. Nothing is charged during the pilot. After it, you keep Otsepay until the end of the month you’ve paid for; a month that has started isn’t refunded.
